It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I write to you today. I have had the pleasure of getting to know you over the years while playing a role in your health at some point, and it is not lost on me just how meaningful that is. 

 

I must advise you that I am closing down my Penticton clinic- OKGN Core Chiropractic on Main Street- effective July 31st, 2025. Unfortunately my lower back injury has made practicing and supporting the business unsustainable. I am currently on leave from my Kelowna practice indefinitely. 

 

I am indebted to Dr Dionne Tatlow for stepping up and taking care of many of you while I have been away. I have been working with Dionne for 2 years, and she is an excellent chiropractor whose values and treatment techniques are so aligned with my own that I couldn't ask for a better person to take my place. For some of you, Dr Dionne is already your primary provider, so please read on for further information on her whereabouts moving forward. 

 

I am thrilled to say that Dionne has agreed to take over all patient files and to continue to provide excellent care to you. This care will take place out of the Penticton Skaha Physiotherapy location on Skaha Lake Road. You may be familiar with this location because I used to work out of Skaha Physio while under different ownership. The new owners are a highly-regarded group of practitioners who have been providing exceptional service to the communities of Penticton, OK Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, and Grand Forks for over 13 years. In addition to the unwavering faith that I have in Dr Dionne, I could not have asked for a better group to continue to support your needs.

As the new custodian of your patient record, Dionne will retain access to your contact information and treatment notes. We cannot transfer any financial records or details, and that information remains protected. I will continue to have easy access to those records for a short time, so if you will have need of any financial statements (for tax purposes etc), please feel free to email your request to drshawnatyler@gmail.com.

Please note that the cell phone line (250-462-7580) that you could previously reach us at will be disconnected in September.
